Nuwara Eliya

Mountain tops covered in acres of verdant tea plantations, steaming factories producing the world’s best quality tea, while a colourfully dressed line of women hand picking the tender two leaves from a tea bush is a breathtaking view.

Often referred as ‘Little England’ for its colonial era bungalows with well-tended pretty gardens and British country village atmosphere.  Colonial club houses warm and fuzzy, golf course aging over 125 years, picturesque Gregory’s Lake covered in a veil of mist, Victoria Park with its pretty hedges reminds a colourful contemporary art, is always a favoured cool-climate hideaway.
